Policy Committee
Drives FCA policy priorities and meets monthly to discuss key issues and actions
Priority issue areas include: labor, trade, foreign ownership of farmland, Make America Healthy Again (MAHA), and federal payments to farmers
Legal Committee
Provides legal resources and programming for FCA members
Nominations Committee
Responsible for FCA member recruitment efforts
Planning Committee
Helps drive the programming and planning for our bi-annual member meetings
Narrative Working Group
Helps develop key messaging around FCA’s value proposition
Water Working Group
Provides a venue for those interested in water issues to discuss key issues and potential solutions and reports to the Policy Committee
Foreign Investment Working Group
Provides a venue for discussion of foreign ag land ownership proposals at the state and federal level and reports to the Policy Committee
Ecosystem Services Working Group
Provides a venue for discussion of ecosystem services and policies and reports to the Policy Committee

Becoming a Member
Membership participation is open only to organizations that are owners, managers, and farmers of large-scale farmland portfolios, typically in excess of 12,000 acres held for farming in multiple states or a portfolio valuation in excess of $250 million.
Member organizations will each have a seat at the table in a nonpolitical, nonpartisan, and noncompetitive environment working in collaboration with fellow thought leaders in the sector. Together, member representatives will define and prioritize topics and issues to be addressed by the Farmland Capital Alliance on behalf of its member organizations.
